Often cited as the first rappers on radio, the Sugarhill Gang are most remembered for their 1979 classic "Rapper's Delight." Some of the rhymes on "Rapper's Delight" were actually jacked from Grandmaster Caz. Erick Sermon, Redman, and Keith Murray (collectively known as the Def Squad) paid tribute in '98 with "Def Squad Delite." The Sugarhill Gang includes Master Gee, Wonder Mike, and Big Bank Hank. Some of the rhymes from "Rapper's Delight" were stolen from Grandmaster Caz of the Cold Crush Brothers.
