Soul-influence reggae crooner Jimmy Cliff had hits with songs including "Many Rivers To Cross" and "The Harder They Come." Cliff's "Many Rivers To Cross" was a huge hit for British Pop-Reggae outfit UB40. Bob Dylan once commented that Jimmy Cliff's "Vietnam" was the best protest song he'd ever heard. Cliff was the very first artist signed to the legendary Beverly label, created and run by Ska legend Leslie Kong.
