Grand Puba is a true legend in terms of old school hip-hop. He was a member of the group Masters of Ceremony which released the rap milestone "Dynamite" in 1988. Later on Puba became a member of the group Brand Nubian famous for its blend of rap rhymes and reggae rhythms. After the album "One For All" from 1990 Grand Puba left Brand Nubian and recorded various solo music including the albums "Reel To Reel" (1992) and "2000" (1995). In 1998 he rejoined Brand Nubian and cut the album "The Return". Later on Puba recorded with people like Missy Elliott and Mary J. Blige to name only two.
