Cypress Hill

A long-standing, weed-promoting trio from L.A., Cypress Hill are B-Real, Sen Dog, and DJ Muggs on the beats.
Cypress' self-titled 1991 debut is a straight-up classic, boasting "How I Could Just Kill A Man" and "Latin Lingo."
Cypress Hill are largely responsible for the abundance of weed-centric rhymes in hip-hop today.
While their first album was popular, Cypress' follow-up -- specifically the track "Insane In The Brain" -- made them stars.
Cypress producer DJ Muggs also puts out the "Soul Assassins" compilations.
