Brand Nubian

Major players in the Afrocentric hip-hop movement of the early '90s, Brand Nubian debuted in 1990 with "One For All."
Their original line up included Lord Jamar, Grand Puba, Sadat X, and DJ Alamo.
After their first album, Grand Puba left to pursue a solo career. He returned for their '98 record "Foundation."
Brand Nubian's hits include "Slow Down," "Love Me Or Leave Me Alone," and "Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down."
Both Sadat X and Grand Puba have put out solo albums. Lord Jamar produces for several artists, including dead prez.
